What species do we target?

Our primary target species are barramundi and Murray cod. Depending on conditions and client goals, we may also encounter a variety of other freshwater and saltwater species.

Do I need fishing experience?

Not at all. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced angler, I can tailor the day to suit your skill level. My goal is to help you learn, improve, and enjoy your time on the water.

What should I bring?

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, polarised sunglasses, sunscreen, food, and drinks for the day. Light refreshments are supplied soft drink and nibblies but lunches can also be organised in advance.

Is fishing equipment provided?

Yes. Quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures are available for use throughout your trip. I would prefer you use the supplied gear but if you have a combo you can’t fish without you’re welcome to bring it along.

Can I learn how to use modern fishing electronics?

Absolutely. A big part of my guiding service is helping anglers understand modern fishing technology. Throughout the day, I’ll explain how I use sonar, mapping, forward-facing sonar, and other electronics to locate and catch fish.

Can you teach me how to break down a new lake or river system?

Yes. Understanding where fish live and why they use certain areas is one of the most valuable skills an angler can develop. I can teach you how to identify productive structure, seasonal patterns, and fish-holding areas to help shorten your learning curve.

Do you offer catch-and-release fishing?

Yes. We are a solely catch and release service.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is always the priority. If weather conditions are unsuitable or unsafe, trips may be postponed or rescheduled to another date.

How many people can fish on a trip?

Please contact me directly to discuss group sizes and trip options. I’ll recommend the best arrangement to ensure everyone has a quality fishing experience.

What are my chances of catching a trophy fish?

While no guide can guarantee fish, I work hard to put clients in the best possible position for success. My years of experience, local knowledge, and modern technology significantly improve your chances of connecting with quality fish.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Young anglers are welcome, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Fishing is a fantastic way to introduce kids to the outdoors and create lifelong memories.

How do I book a trip?

Simply get in touch via the contact page, phone, or social media. I’ll discuss your goals, preferred dates, and the best options available to help create an unforgettable day on the water.

Do you offer multi-day trips or cater for larger groups?

Yes. Multi-day fishing packages can be arranged for anglers looking to maximise their time on the water and fully experience some of Australia’s best barramundi and Murray cod fisheries.

For larger groups, I can work with a network of experienced guides to accommodate multiple anglers while ensuring everyone receives a high-quality fishing experience.

Whether you’re planning a fishing holiday, corporate trip, mates’ getaway, or fishing club event, contact me to discuss your requirements and I’ll help tailor a package to suit your group and objectives.
